D’après mon expérience avec mes enfants et ainsi qu’avec les enfants dans les écoles et les garderies j’avais toujours exprimé mes mots avec quelques gestes en parlant alors en découvrant votre programme AIM m’a beaucoup aidé à enseigner les étudiants anglophones à comprendre le français en s’amusant .
Ma classe de 4 années cette année c’est leurs premiers fois d’apprendre le Français et en un mois ils reflètent des bonnes résultats et adorent la classe et je trouve du plaisir a leurs enseigner et en s’amusent tellement.

Wendy & other AIM teachers reviewed the core values of AIM & demonstrated how to walk students through all of the key components of the AIM methodology. After not using AIM curriculum specifically the last 4 years but being a dedicated AIM style teacher, I realized I had successfully implemented many of the AIM procedures & principles in my classes anyhow. This course reminded me how simple & clear the AIM system is & why it supports student learning so well.

For somewhat older students this is a nice story to start with. They can practise with the portal and as a teacher you can see how long the've practised.
It's easy to see if the students did their homework; giving feedback is easy and it's a real bonus for dyslectic students that the text can be listened to.
I learned so much and enjoyed learning from other teachers who are implementing the AIM methodology. It's nice to get some new ideas I can take into the classroom with me in the fall!

I am happy to say that we have renewed our books. Our new editions have all the great aspects of the methodology as contained in the original Kits, but also contain wonderful improvements, based on teacher feedback over the years!

I participated in the La Vie en Action! session about Movie Talks with Richard Smith. WOW! What an informative workshop! Richard explained the purpose and reasoning behind doing movie talks with our French classes, and then demonstrated with step by step instructions how we could successfully implement this activity. He very graciously shared us many ready to use resources. Merci!!!!
Wendy shared with us many ways that we could challenge and extend various vocabulary activities that are already in the different kits. The workshop was very thorough, engaging, and provided many concrete examples that could be used right away in our classes. Merci beaucoup!

It cleverly imagines the Big Bad Wolf as a soft-hearted character who just wants to escape from his past and become a successful comedian. Like everyone, he is looking for friendship and acceptance. His “Big Bad” reputation has been forced on him by a society that expects nothing good from a wolf. The book sweetly explores feelings of insecurity and loneliness and pushes us to re-examine our preconceived opinions about others based on their outward appearances.

It was great to brush up and learn even more new strategies and techniques to further my teaching skills. AIM is a big help in the classroom and really gets the students speaking in French and using the language. They love it!

I highly recommend investing in AIM language learning materials and attending the AIM training sessions (online and in-person are both excellent). AIM absolutely transformed my teaching - both in French Immersion and as a French teacher in an English school. It breathed new life and excitement into my teaching, not only because it's fun - for the students and for me! - but the results are very impressive! My Francophone principal (who has very high standards) was consistently impressed with the spontaneous oral production of my Kindergarten students in French Immersion at our school. During morning announcements, she would even share what my students said in French for the rest of the school to hear! Do yourself a big favour and leap into this program and the AIM training. The time and money are well worth it - and you will impress your admin! :)

The story is interesting and the students find it very funny at the end and they feel like they are traveling through all the situations from Québec to Frence.

This story goes good with grade 8 because they find that describes theirs feelings with theirs siblings. The vocabulary is very good and very useful.

I love using this story in my kindergarten class. My students are already able to retell the story with gesture prompts and for Halloween, we incorporated our Halloween vocab words to retell the story using spooky characters (bat, ghost, vampire, skeleton, witch). The students really enjoy it.
